Activity Day
Activity Day gives HHE families the opportunity to gather once a month for cooperative learning, Christian fellowship, hands-on activities, and time together as a homeschool community.
What Is Activity Day?
Activity Day is an opportunity for HHE parents to work together to bring information, instruction, encouragement, and fellowship to their children in a cooperative group setting.
Activities and classes may change from year to year, allowing families to experience a variety of academic, creative, practical, and social opportunities throughout the homeschool year.

What Families Experience
Hands-On Learning
Activities give students opportunities to learn through demonstrations, projects, discussion, and practical experiences.
Friendship
Children and parents have regular opportunities to build friendships within the HHE community.
Christian Fellowship
Activity Day is grounded in Christian fellowship and a desire to encourage one another in Christ.
Parent Involvement
Parents work together to help provide classes, activities, organization, and support for participating families.
Service
Families have opportunities to serve one another and contribute to the success of the group.
Fun
Activity Day gives students another place to enjoy learning, participate with others, and make memories together.

Thinking About Activity Day?
Visitors Are Welcome
Families may visit and participate in up to two Activity Days before committing to Activity Day membership. This gives families an opportunity to experience the group and decide whether Activity Day is a good fit for them.
Activity Day Membership
HHE + Activity Day Membership
Activity Day participation requires HHE membership and the applicable annual membership fees.
Participating families are also required to sign in agreement with the Activity Day Statement of Faith.
Designed as a Cooperative
Activity Day works because participating families contribute to the community rather than simply attending as spectators.
- Parents work together to help provide classes, activities, and organization.
- Families are encouraged to participate consistently and support the other families involved.
- Activities are designed so children who are present have opportunities to participate.
- The goal is to create an environment of learning, fellowship, service, and Christ-centered encouragement.
