Family-Oriented Activities
Fellowship, friendship, fun, and memories for the whole family.
HHE is about more than homeschool activities for students. Throughout the year, families have opportunities to gather, relax, laugh, celebrate, and build friendships together.
Building Community Beyond School
Homeschooling gives families the opportunity to spend a lot of life together, but community still matters. HHE family activities provide a relaxed setting where parents and children can connect with other homeschool families outside of structured educational events.
Some activities are seasonal traditions. Others may change from year to year depending on volunteers, interests, and opportunities.
Why Family Activities Matter
Friendships
Families have time to get to know one another outside of classes, meetings, and organized learning.
Whole-Family Fellowship
Parents, teens, younger children, and siblings can all enjoy being part of the HHE community.
Traditions
Seasonal gatherings can become favorite memories families look forward to year after year.
Connection
Informal activities often create some of the best opportunities for meaningful relationships to grow.
Fun
Not every HHE gathering has to be educational. Sometimes the point is simply to enjoy being together.
Belonging
Shared experiences help families feel like they are part of a community instead of homeschooling alone.
What Might We Do?
Family activities can change from year to year, but HHE has enjoyed gatherings such as:
Come When It Works for Your Family
HHE families are not expected to attend every event. Family activities are simply opportunities to connect when the activity, timing, and season work well for your household.
Join us for the traditions your family loves and skip the ones that do not fit. There is no pressure to do everything.
What Families Can Expect

- Event availability, cost, and participation requirements may vary depending on the activity.
