HHE Project Fair gives students an opportunity to explore something that interests them, create a project they are proud of, and share what they have learned with our homeschool community.
What Is Project Fair?
Project Fair is a student-centered showcase where HHE students can present research, experiments, artwork, models, collections, demonstrations, and other creative projects.
The goal is not perfection. It is to encourage curiosity, independent learning, creativity, communication, and the confidence to share something meaningful with others.
Students can choose a topic that fits their interests, learning style, and age level.
What Students Gain

Students have the freedom to dig deeper into a subject that genuinely interests them.

Projects can be designed in ways that reflect each student's personality, gifts, and imagination.

Sharing a finished project helps students practice speaking, explaining, and answering questions.

Project Fair brings HHE families together for a day of learning, conversation, and shared accomplishments.
What Can I Make?
Almost anything! Projects can be academic, artistic, scientific, historical, practical, or creative.
How It Works
Choose
Pick a topic, question, subject, or idea you would enjoy exploring.
Explore
Research, experiment, create, collect, build, or investigate.
Create
Turn what you learned into a display, model, demonstration, or presentation.
Share
Bring your project to the fair and share it with the HHE community.
Let the Student Own the Project
Parents are welcome to encourage, guide, help gather materials, and support younger students, but Project Fair is most meaningful when the student's ideas and work remain at the center of the project.
A simple project completed enthusiastically by the student is more valuable than an elaborate project completed mostly by an adult.
Participation Information
- Project Fair is open to HHE member students.
- Students of different ages and ability levels are encouraged to participate.
- Projects should be appropriate for a family-friendly Christian homeschool event.
- Families should complete any requested registration information by the announced deadline.
- Students should be prepared to briefly explain their project and answer questions from visitors.
